You would be primarily responsible for the evaluation, assessment and qualification of new and existing customer accounts to determine overall acceptance in line with the Company\'s risk tolerance and appetite. You will be tasked with approving, documenting and defending credit and risk-based decisions, preparing reports and providing routine updates to senior management. In addition, you will take lead in conducting thorough reviews and investigations with the goal to deter suspicious and fraudulent activities to help expedite the onboarding and approval of bona fide businesses. You will also responsible for reviewing public information, examining credit and financial data, evaluating and screening industry data results, as well as corresponding and interacting with sales teams, partners and customers.What you will be doing:Conduct an assigned number of account reviews daily, weekly and monthly meeting aggressive deadlinesPerform qualitative assessments to identify and mitigate credit and fraud risksAnalyze customer data to calculate account risk and classify risk profilesReview, assess, and mitigate client reputational, regulatory, and compliance riskRender judicious credit and risk decisions by disseminating publicly available data, industry reports, internal data reports, financial statements, and other credit qualifying criteriaQualify account acceptability based on applicant credit quality and profilePresent and defend Credit and Risk decisions to higher credit authorities and managementReport status activity on general risks while providing recommendations for actionParticipate in meetings and risk routines such as credit committees, internal/external audits, industry trainings, and moreCollaborate with other functional areas of the organization to expedite the account review process, as well as to mitigate risks and minimize lossesInteract with sales associates, referral partners, new and existing clients, providing first in class serviceHelp develop and assist on ideas that will drive operational efficiencies while increasing production and company profitability while maintaining portfolio integrity and minimizing risksAssist with internal/external projects as assignedOther duties as assigned by managementWhat you will need:Degree in a...
