As a Lead SAP Basis Administrator you will serve as an SAP Basis Administrator for servers and storage, disaster recovery (DR) data replication, with extensive hands-on to provide support for a 24x7 uptime of production operation.
What You Will Do:
Participates in analysis of current state and design of future state business processes.
Reviews and guide internal business and IT teams to understand the system integrator proposed process design.
Install and configure SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java systems based on Linux, Oracle and HANA Database.
Implement SAP Notes, patch, Enhancement Pack Upgrade, Kernel Upgrade.
System monitoring, analysis, tuning, debugging & troubleshoot performance issues and process improvement
System Refreshes and Client Administration –Copy (Local, Remote & Client import/export).
Performs HANA upgrade.
Process orient and proficient in technical documentations.
Work on both ongoing support and new implementation.
Perform secure socket layer (SSL) configurations.
Install and configure of Web Dispatcher (Reverse proxy).
Perform Load Testing of SAP Applications using SAP Load runner.
Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Responsible for all project activities related to Basis & Solman activities.
Participating in audits, reconciliation, and user access reviews.
Participating in rotating on call to cover off hours and weekend support/incidents.
Prepares the technical Project plan, milestones in-alignment with release calendar.
Drives the project initiatives and lead the Cognitus tech team during execution from planning until AMS support phases.
Coordinates on new Project Solutions, reviews and approval discussions.
Explores new initiatives on Solution manager offerings.
Conducts internal workshops / proof-of-concept sessions for business to align to solutions that reduce customization requirements throughout the implementation phase.
Provides inputs to project related documentation GAP analysis, blueprints, functional specifications, for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms during different stages of implementation.
Configures SAP S/4 HANA environments and test system integrator provided solutions.
Participates actively in all user training activities and guide business teams in testing; conduct internal sessions on the specific product functionality on a need basis.
Evaluates of new releases and/or support packs within realm of expertise and provide recommendations on whether these changes should be applied to production/pre-production solutions to meet business requirements.
Manages incident tickets for new enhancements and projects post implementation.
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for their understanding and compliance.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering plus 8 years of SAP Basis experience.
Demonstrates experience with industry best practices and implementing SAP business processes
Experience in multiple end to end full life cycle SAP implementation projects and at least 1 end to end full life cycle SAP implementation on HANA
Demonstrated understanding and application of the technical analysis and design and its associated documentation (i.e. Infrastructure architecture specifications)
What Will Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 10 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Masters Degree
Expert level knowledge of the following SAP Functional Areas: S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP/SCM, HANA, PI/PO, BW, BI, ABAP, JAVA Stack, ECC, GTS, Fiori, Solution Manager, CHaRM,
SSO across ECC, Fiori, GTS, S/4HANA, BOBJ, HANA, Identity Management Solutions, configuring SAML based SSO
Hand-on SAP Systems experience: ECC, TM, APO, MDM, EP, EWM (multiple locations), PI (ABAP & JAVA), GRC, BI/BW on HANA, BOBJ
Experience with implementation of solution manger (preferable on cloud)
Good understanding of setting up Printers in SAP (SPAD)and Print Queues at Linux operating system
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with business and IT globally
Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Need to have strong documentation skills, ability to guide internal teams on SAP functionality
Understanding of SOX controls as applicable to software solutions and process controls
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Compensation
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $104,310 - $173,900
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
