We are seeking an Electomechanical Technician to perform a wide variety of task requiring mechanical and fabrication, assembly and test skills to support the Assembly, Test and Operations (ATLO) of spacecraft.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Manufacturing and test of ground support equipment, assembly and test of complex assemblies/ subsystems and spacecraft system and test support.
• Build, maintain, troubleshoot and repair and mechanical ground support equipment.
• Fabricate ground and flight harnesses, and perform continuity and other in-process checks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Assemble detail parts/ components into an end product following work instructions (structures, mechanisms, subsystems and systems).
• Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, and fixtures.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
• Support spacecraft assembly, subsystem test, environmental test, pack & ship operations and site processing.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Create and work in a team environment while implementing Continuous Process Improvement.
• Be able to give/take work direction to/from team members.

Requires a Top Secret or SCI clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working with test and measurement equipment (i.e. multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches).
• Able to read and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists and other information and documentation.
• Electrical trouble shooting skills and ability to obtain solder certification.
• Able to calculate and measure (fractions and decimals).
• Able to pass the skills certification courses required by the program OTSDA.
• Demonstrated ability to assemble detail parts/components into an end product following work instructions.
• Ability to support shift work (1st, 2nd and 3rd), extended shifts, weekend work, and overtime as needed for a 24/7 test operation.
Must be a US Citizen and have an active TS or SCI
Desired Skills:
• Usage and knowledge of adhesives and bonding materials.
• A&P License preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of crane operations, lifting and handling.
• Knowledge and experience in spacecraft ground processing life cycle in preparation for launch/mission operations.
• Knowledge of Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations.
• Knowledge of general test equipment operations.
• Knowledge of environmental test operations.
• Knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools.
• Manufacturing Skills identified in the Program Operational Technical Skills Plan (OTSDA).
• Knowledge of environmental test operations.
• Knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $36,600 - $61,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
