The Claims Administration Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative responsibilities and supporting the claims functional group to allow the office to function at a high level of efficiency and compliance. We are open to hiring talent at our Zurich headquarters, located in Schaumburg, IL.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Responds to internal customer inquiries quickly, accurately and in a professional manner. Offers first level problem resolution to customers and escalates inquiries appropriately.

  • Assists with claims set up, research claims and addresses issues and documentation retrieval as appropriate.

  • Applies knowledge of complex operational best practices and procedures to daily activities.

  • Provides prompt, courteous, and high-quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area

OR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a team and independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Problem solving skills
