Training & Development Specialist (Human Resources Analyst) (Vacancy)

Under direction, is responsible for performing fully-skilled professional human resources work for a department or division; performs related duties as required.

The Department of Human Resources is seeking a part-time Training & Development Specialist. The individual will be a member of the Citywide Training & Development team and responsible for designing and developing ILT and eLearning courses; conducting ILT, Virtual ILT and Hybrid training classes; training assessments; analysis; and other duties as assigned. 


The preferred skills and experience include a minimum of two years' experience in training, facilitating, conducting needs assessments, and developing ILT training programs; a minimum of two years' experience using authoring tools to design and develop effective eLearning; familiarity with LMS programs and multiple functions within a LMS; thorough knowledge of MS Office suite; strong interpersonal, collaboration, and critical thinking skills; be flexible, creative, and have an engaging facilitation style. 


This part-time opportunity will offer up to 20 hours per week.

Possession of a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional human resources experience in a human resources office, company, firm, or department.  Substitution(s):  A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.Recruitment #: 22-0855-V6
