Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer in Test III, you will be the individual contributor as well as lead a team of QA engineers supporting the Digital applications. You will coach your team to ensure comprehensive coverage and high level of efficiency through Automation. You will support engineers to help them resolve critical issues and mitigate risks. You will track QA metrics to ensure high quality and efficiency .

You will partner with Agile teams to ensure a high quality product and participate in PI planning, sprint planning, sprint grooming and retrospective sessions. You will communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to agile teams, stakeholders and leadership.

Work in an agile software development environment, provide QA leadership, expertise and guidance and drive consistent quality assurance strategies across multiple agile teams.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products, services and trends through research of cutting-edge technology and trends, and influence innovation and process.

Continually develop and refine test automation frameworks and, evaluate strategies and opportunities for test case automation.

Promote proper implementation of agile techniques and principles for sprint planning and estimation.

Provide leadership to other QA engineers for estimating scope and size of user stories.

Work in an agile software development environment, design both manual and automated tests and ensure alignment with all agile team members with tests that each user story will have to pass.

Continually review work of other junior team members and mentor them.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of software quality assurance experience testing digital applications and developing test automation.

3+ years of experience with backend API testing

5+ years of experience testing order management systems like IBM sterling commerce application; web services automation testing using automation framework; test automation for web application using Javascript/JAVA and selenium; and domain knowledge for retail front store & fulfillment

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare domain experience
Expertise with Mobile Automation tools such as SeeTest
Expertise with Java or other Object oriented design
Expertise with Selenium, Cucumber, BDD
Good knowledge on GIT and Jenkins process for CI-CD

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
