The Salesforce Administrator will maintain the company Salesforce platform, the integration of Salesforce with other company systems, and will interface with all departments to support their needs in order to promote efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with all departments and have excellent communication skills. 


Cradlepoint in Boise, ID is seeking a Salesforce Administrator Level I to join their world-class Salesforce Team. The will use their technical expertise to make important decisions which will affect the quality and timely completion of both large and small projects. Along with the other members of the team, their contributions will make a lasting, positive impact across Cradlepoint’s Sales, Marketing, Support and Operations efforts.


  • Will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day support, maintenance, configuration and improvement of our CRM platform
  • Interface with all departments to assist and support their Salesforce usage and reporting needs
  • Customize Salesforce platform utilizing build/change functions that do not require writing development code
  • Maintain database accuracy, integrity and cleanliness
  • Assist our stakeholders with developing training materials and delivering training as required
  • Join the team in developing and maintaining proper documentation of Salesforce configuration and development efforts
  • Work with the administrators from other functional groups to ensure that Salesforce is properly configured and integrated with outside systems including Marketo and D365
  • Maintain knowledge of all current Salesforce features and releases


  • Self-motivated and able to work both with the team and independently from a remote location
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and assignments
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent personal and project organization skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with members in all departments

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working in an Information Systems or helpdesk environment
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ

Education & Certifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent related experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
