Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a cleared candidate to provide support to for the United States Air Force. Under the CTSS program, Trace Systems provides operations, maintenance, administration, and management support to USAFCENT A6, 379ECS, and ODRP in CONUS and in the USCENTCOM AOR. Task areas to be supported include: Program Management, Communications Planning and Engineering, Cybersecurity, Spectrum Operations, RF Transmission, SATCOM Operations, and Logistics. 

Trace Systems is seeking a Project Planner II to support our on-site team based at Shaw AFB, SC. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage, supervise, and perform communication systems planning and implementation activities. Level of support can be theater-wide or at squadron level.
  • Tasks shall include:
    • Provide continuity for deployed USAF personnel and act as a liaison with the base-level USAF personnel to support the Government operational requirements on projects and serve as a focal point for all communication systems planning.
    • Direct and lead planning meetings, video and teleconferences.
    • Coordinate with SMEs, local command, and external agencies as required to develop and brief project plans. Manage implementation of communication systems projects.
    • Coordinate and facilitate communications installations to include frequency authorizations, civil works authorizations, logistical work, and other aspects as required.
    • Coordinate engineering data through the base Communication System Integrator (CSI) to ensure communications systems architecture, configuration, and integration conformity.
    • Consolidate monthly reports of all communication projects.
    • Coordinate and process deployed base/command-level requirements.
    • Track requirements throughout the life-cycle to include gathering, collecting, and archive requirements.
    • Input requirement to Government-provided database.
    • Act as a liaison with the base level USAF personnel to support Government operational requirements.
    • Coordinate and process deployed base requirements as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate level of experience in planning and scheduling various project workload.
  • Must have experience in gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports.
  • Must have experience in ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Must have experience in evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:
    • Managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems
    • Planning and implementation activities,
    • Managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity,
    • Working and communicating with military officers.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification. 


  • High School Diploma
