Requisition 30829Purpose of PositionThe business system analyst is a technology resource that will work under the appropriate supervision of an IT manager to support specific business analysis and requirement needs. The individual is responsible for writing functional business requirements that are validated by the business and accepted by IT engineering teams. The person in this role collaborates and verifies requirements, use cases, design specifications, business process changes developed in conjunction withbusiness SME's, Product Support Specialist and IT. The Business System Analyst will also validate the delivery of functional requirements as required, drive prioritization and shepherd the work from inception through delivery. As part of a highly collaborative team, the role will interact with many technical and business resources across the enterprise.The ideal candidate is a committed, creative, self-motivated technologist who is interested in practicing his or her skills and learning new ones.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development ofbusiness requirements, use cases, &business process modelsValidate requirements with business SME's, Product Owners &Technical teamAssist in the development of documentation,test cases, logic, process flows &specifications.Troubleshoot escalated issues from Level 1 SupportContribute on training plan for all Teammates for major enhancements and/or significant changes to system with collaboration with Business SME, IT Account Manager and/or Product Manager Coordinate business approval for release of all bug fixes &minor enhancements into production as part of release planningContribute on UATCoordinate business UAT for all bug fix validation &minor enhancement for each releaseCollaborate with scrum master in requirements definitionProvide input to business casesCollaborate on user manualsMinimum EducationMinimum of three years related work experience in the business processes or products supporting one or more FlightSafety Business Units.
