The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior 737 Technical Pilot to join our team in Seattle, WA .
Be a part of a team that is at the leading edge of flight safety, flight training, and flight operations. As a 737 Technical Pilot you will have the opportunity to work with professionals from across the industry and positively affect safety and operations of Boeing flight operations and that of our customers, world-wide. You will interact with pilots, managers, regulators, executives, peers, supporting team personnel, and Subject Matter Experts. This is a high visibility position in Air Crew Operations – part of Training & Professional Services. This role will require strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across functions and levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Providing flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels
Maintaining qualification as a Boeing Captain on at least one aircraft model
Working with the other Technical Pilots and Procedure Coordinators in the 737 group
Supporting new aircraft and system development and certification efforts
Developing and validating procedures and operating techniques and assisting other Technical Pilots with cross-model procedures
Providing information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operations efficiency
Consulting with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysis
Researching, editing, documenting and coordinating publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing aircraft
Representing Boeing as a technical expert by authoring and presenting professional papers at worldwide safety and flight operational forums
Meeting with regulatory agencies at the executive level
Supporting sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technology
Serving as a consultant to senior management and other industry professionals
Supporting simulator testing and qualification efforts
Works under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
FAA ATP or foreign equivalent certificate with the appropriate endorsements.
737 type rating
Bachelor's degree
3000 flight hours
Experience flying transport category aircraft
Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Aircrew Safety training experience
Experience creating and revising procedures and checklists also highly desired.
Instructor or check pilot or FAR 121 line experience on Boeing aircraft highly desired
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: 190,000 – 210,000
