What You'll Do...

  • Design digital graphic solutions for Sam's Club projects by communicating and collaborating with clients to conceptualize, prioritize, and execute marketing campaigns and solutions; assisting in project planning and marketing design; creating concepts for marketing projects; utilizing design templates and solutions; monitoring and evaluating graphic designs to ensure compliance with brand standards and guidelines; collaborating with the Design Team, Copy Team, other business areas (for example, seasonal campaigns, platforms) and agencies; identifying design issues; and resolving or escalating problems to management as appropriate.
  • Support and maintain the strategic alignment of design programs and assets under the guidance of senior design management by maintaining relationships with merchants, Marketing, and cross-functional teams; participating in design critiques; responding to requests for design support; developing style guides; keeping up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape; and understanding the capabilities of company technologies (for example, platform, marketing, mobile, social).
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor Degree and 2 years design experience OR Masters Degree and 1 year design experience OR 4 years design experience.
1 year experience designing front-end user experience solutions for mobile applications on major smartphone platforms (for example, Android, iOS).
