Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager I, Aviation Operations is responsible for the safe, profitable, and compliant operations of Beaver Lake Aviation, a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) wholly owned by Walmart Inc., located at the Rogers Executive Airport in Rogers, AR. 

The Senior Manager oversees Beaver Lake Aviation customer service by developing and implementing strategies to promote customer retention and sales; developing customer service programs to provide customers with desired products, services, and experiences including competitive pricing; monitoring service levels and program effectiveness; resolving customer issues; and developing and executing short and long-term goals for customer retention.

The Senior Manager provides inspiring leadership to Beaver Lake Aviation associates in daily operations (for example, administration, customer service, aviation line technicians) to ensure that all functions (for example, ramp operations such as refueling, towing, quality control, concierge services) are delivered timely, accurately, and in compliance with safety regulations; analyzes data to solve problems; and develops and implements corrective measures when necessary.  In addition, the Senior Manager provides oversight for infrastructure and assets (for example, FBO facility, hangars, fuel farm) by developing strategies for short and long-term operations and service offerings; analyzing costs and developing justifications for facility improvements; developing implementation strategies; and overseeing the implementation of business plans and improvements.

The Senior Manager ensures Beaver Lake Aviation profitability by negotiating contracts with suppliers to provide services (for example, fuel suppliers, restaurant tenant, car rental tenant); negotiating supplier rates; overseeing the administration of contract agreements; evaluating supplier service level performance; and overseeing contract termination when service levels are not met.  The Senior Manager prepares and manages annual expense and capital budgets; develops and implements plans to meet or exceed monthly profit projections; monitors financial performance and day-to-day expenses; analyzes sales reports to identify trends and patterns; and ensures monthly financial reports are complete and accurate.

The Senior Manager oversees Beaver Lake Aviation’s operational compliance with governing regulations (for example, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), US Customs and Border Protection, city, county, state, and federal entities) by staying current with requirements; auditing existing processes and protocols; conducting inspections; and developing measures to ensure future compliance.
