Senior Manager I, Global AML and Financial Services Compliance Program Advisory

Join the Global AML and Financial Services Compliance (“FSC”) Program Advisory team to support governance of the global program for the world’s largest retailer. The Senior Manager I, Global AML and Financial Services Compliance Program Advisory (“GAML CPA”) role is critical to supporting the governance of the program, including oversight of policies, procedures and standards; training; risk assessments; third party management; and regulatory change management. As a key team member, you will help support in executing effective governance of the program, with a focus on helping protect Walmart from being used to facilitate money laundering, financing of terrorist activity and consumer fraud, as well as protecting our customers through effective oversight of consumer financial protection requirements.

You’ll make an impact by: 

  • Having an eye for detail and being able to effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (first, second, third lines of defense along with external partners)
  • Partnering with team members, including global subject matter experts in executing strategies for the Company’s AML and FSC program
  • Helping to evolve the Global AML and FSC programs by effective risk spotting in order to help identify, escalate and mitigate program risks

You’ll sweep us off our feet if… 

  • You have gained over 5 years compliance experience with AML regulations and risk management practices, consumer fraud and consumer financial protection requirements
  • You have over 5 years compliance experience spanning across large/medium sized financial institutions and/or non-bank financial institutions (FI’s and NBFI’s) with focus on the consumer/retail customers
  • You have experience with FinTech services and products, or with a Money Services Business (MSB)
  • You’re process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • You have experience creating/updating and maintaining policy, procedure, standard and process documents
  • You have strong technical writing skills
  • You have strong analytical abilities
  • You have effective communication skills with an ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and partners
  • You are a team player having experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment
  • You are a Certified Financial Services Compliance Specialist, with one or more of the following certifications, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
