Senior Manager II, AML Financial Intelligence Unit Law Enforcement Team Leader

***This position is in Bentonville (relocation only available to Bentonville, AR)***

Join Financial Services Compliance team to be a key leader in the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) team for the world’s largest retailer.?The Senior Manager II, Financial Intelligence Unit Team Lead—Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Services Compliance role is critical to ensure that Walmart satisfies its Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML regulatory filings.? Help build a first-class AML Financial Intelligence Unit and mitigate financial risk by leading a team of investigators who manage cases stemming from law enforcement referrals and draft Suspicious Activity Reports.? Strong people leadership, AML expertise and operational management will be keys to success in this role. 

You’ll make an impact by:? 

  • Assisting in the creation of strategies for the Company’s AML Financial Intelligence Unit  
  • Building an inclusive and cohesive team  
  • Developing, leading and overseeing a team of six to eight FIU investigators 
  • Strengthening the Company’s AML?program in ways that will mitigate corporate risk 
  • Partnering with stakeholders on delivering timely investigative referrals to law enforcement partners
  • Evaluating incoming law enforcement referrals to help the Company further partnership with law enforcement entities
  • Assisting in evaluating current production volumes in relation to available resources to ensure SLAs and/or deadlines are not missed
  • Understanding case investigation processes and providing support to a team of six to eight FIU investigators 
  • Drafting procedures to document processes as well as identifying risk and controls for a given process

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…? 

  • You’re a subject matter expert in U.S. AML regulations and risk management practices, consumer fraud and consumer financial protection requirements 
  • You are a proven-people leader with the ability to lead through change effectively
  • You have strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders 
  • You have experience spanning across financial industries focused on the consumer/retail customer 
  • You have experience with FinTech services and products, or with a Money Services Business (MSB) 
  • You’re process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness 
  • You have strong data and analytical abilities
  • You have experience drafting process documents and procedures
  • You have strong technical writing skills
  • You are a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS)
