Senior Manager, Learning & Development, Deloitte Tech Academy Data & Analytics Lead

When operating at full scale, we expect Deloitte Tech Academy to train tens of thousands of learners annually in critical technology skills including AI, Cloud, Cyber, Data & Analytics, Blockchain, custom development and package technologies.
Work you'll do
Serve as a key member of the leadership team for the start-up of Deloitte Tech Academy (DTA). Provide strategic vision, thought leadership, and instructional design expertise around a Data & Analytics curriculum in partnership with the Chief Data Officers (CDO) and other practice leaders. Collaborate closely with other members of the DTA leadership team, business stakeholders across all functions, and Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) leaders to shape and implement the overall vision for DTA via a multi-year development strategy. Oversee a team of US and USI professionals to operationalize and execute the curriculum elements of the vision and three-year roadmap for DTA.
In collaboration with business and CDO leaders, and internal/external technology thought leaders establish a future-state vision for the DTA Data & Analytics curriculum, and develop a roadmap to migrate toward that vision
Co-develop and implement with other DTA Specialized Schools (e.g., Cloud, AI, Cyber) Leads a set of recommendations for a shared approach to advanced topic-specific development, including potentially a common curriculum structure, learner personas, certification standards, etc.
In collaboration with DTA Ecosystem Lead, infuse external content and subject matter expertise from ecosystem partners as needed to ensure DTA Data & Analytics curriculum is leading-edge, scalable, and agile in response to evolving technologies.
In collaboration with the DTA Experience & Impact Lead, define and implement an approach to learner assessments that feed customized learning pathways based on skill level.
Define success metrics for the Data & Analytics school to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Create the annual budget/plan for DTA Data & Analytics curriculum aligned to the overall vision and roadmap, including resource needs, program delivery, and curriculum development and curation funding.
Manage against that annual budget to deliver outcomes against plan and within an acceptable range of variance.
Build relationships acting as a credible and trusted consultative advisor with business, CDO, and L&D stakeholders to gain input on proposed solutions, address issues / questions, and evolve and reprioritize the curriculum plan and strategy, as warranted, to address emerging needs.
Partner closely with learning teams across the US and USI to influence outcomes and gain alignment on DTA curriculum vision and strategy across geographies and businesses.
Lead a remote team to deliver on the DTA vision across geographies-executing with strong project management skills to monitor projects, financials, scope, issues, risks, timelines-by delivering quality solutions that achieve desired business outcomes.
Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team that maximizes team member contribution by creating an environment of mutual support and shared responsibility.
Maintain an active curiosity about the latest trends in the technology training landscape (including competitor actions regarding their own technology academies) to anticipate business asks and oversee the creation of development solutions to keep DTA on the leading edge of efficient and effective skill development.
Lead, inspire, and coach team members, fostering individual and team growth and agility through delegation, feedback, instruction, and encouragement-building on strengths and dissecting and developing areas for improvement.
Use data throughout the solution development lifecycle to identify opportunities, inform decisions, test ideas, design and improve solutions, and measure impact.
Apply knowledge of vendor landscape, adult learning theory, learning and development best practices, tools and technology to advise on and evaluate options to elevate the learning strategy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in instructional design and knowledge of instructional design tools and methodologies
Proven experience in building and maintaining effective cross-geo relationships with both business and Talent stakeholders
Ability to communicate with influence and impact, effectively conveying insights, a clear point of view and recommendations in ways that inspire action and advance business strategy.
Ability to navigate a matrixed global organization to gain clarity and drive alignment on development priorities
Ability to manage a high performing team of core learning and development professionals
12-15 years of experience in Human Capital or HR with at-least 7-8 years core L&D experience
Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence"
In Excel, aggregate data, conduct complex analysis, and display results visually
In PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience that conveys clear, actionable recommendations
In Word, create clear, concise communications with a user-friendly layout conducive to cognition
Advanced degree in training and development, human resources development, education, organizational psychology, business, or related field
Experience working in a development organization
Prior consulting or professional services experience
Proven experience successfully leading a project portfolio including scoping, planning, budgeting, and delivering multiple concurrent, complex work streams in a matrixed organization
Established track record of taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning solutions with measurable business results
Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with a high capacity for influence, collaboration, and consensus-building
Strong critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture
Initiative and passion for resolving complex business issues and moving solutions to the next level of impact and innovation
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends
Some amount of travel could be required based on role responsibilities
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $211,850.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
