N/A Basic Purpose
Assists in the preparation and reviews the regulatory earned rate of return, earnings sharing calculations and revenue requirement calculations in compliance with regulations and Commission directives for state and FERC jurisdictional filings. Assists in the preparation and reviews the fuel and purchased power recovery mechanisms and required filings as well as the completion of various state and FERC reporting requirements. Ensures accurate and timely preparation of regulatory statements, adjustments, analyses and supporting testimony in compliance with all regulatory regulations and requirements. Applies experience and principles, theories and concepts to resolve moderately complex pricing, financial, economic, regulatory or legislative issues. Contributes to pricing and regulatory decisions that impact Company policy and revenues. Works independently and receives minimal guidance and provides work direction and technical assistance to less experienced team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Rate Reviews
Assists in the preparation and reviews the earned rate of return and revenue requirements calculations in support of state and FERC general rate case filings including statements reflecting normalizations, cash working capital lead/lag studies, testimony and management analyses.
Delivers communication to all levels of management, pertaining to regulatory filings and regulatory environment.
Helps develop recommendations for appropriate strategies and objectives of rate case filings. Serves as a witness on revenue requirement matters before the PUCN. Deferred Energy Rates
Ensures fuel and purchased power recovery through preparation and review of timely and accurate monthly entries, reporting, analyses, testimony and required quarterly and annual filings. May serve as a witness in the deferred energy cases if required.
Reviews and provides feedback to the financial planning team on the deferred energy rates included in the forecast and ten year plan. Regulatory Return

Implements SOX sections 302 and 404 compliance initiatives to maintain and keep current all documentation of internal controls over financial reporting with no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned. Requirements Essential Education, Skills, and Environment Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, engineering, finance or related field from an accredited school and 4 years of related experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Utility, regulatory theory and quantitative modeling.
- Managing interdepartmental projects in regulatory proceedings.

Annual Salary: $83,400.00 (Min) to $98,100.00 (Mid); Up to 10% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.Benefits
