As a Specialist I, you will provide support by building and maintaining relationships with buyers, suppliers, site merchandising, site operations, and other key stakeholders; ensuring internal and external customers have the information and content required to execute online requests and support online features in order to achieve online KPIs including Sales, Profit and Net Promoter Score. This key role will also influence member shop ability on our site, ensuring product and site taxonomy supports merchant strategy and is relevant to how consumers shop and search respective product categories.


As a Specialist I you will:

  • Create and maintain items; verifying item pricing and distribution; communicating item number to facilitate ordering; confirm item file information (for example, unit of measure, short description, and register rules) is accurate and compliant and processing item status changes and implementing inventory adjustments (for example, markdowns, liquidations, returns).
  • Provide support by building and maintaining relationships with buyers, planners, inventory managers, suppliers, and operators; ensuring internal and external customers have the information and merchandise required to support club requests and item transitions.
  • Assist managing item-level inventory by providing insight to key stakeholders (for example, Merchandising, Suppliers etc). Monitoring and adjusting current inventory receipt projections.  Reviewing reports and creating reports to identify opportunities and create corrective actions for improving inventory, tracking orders to manage product flow to achieve and maintain in-stock levels; and making adjustments where needed. 
  • Assist with Remedy tickets, field emails, and other supplier, club and DC needs related to item activation, PO activation and adjustments, additional merchandise requests; researching and resolving item issues; partnering with logistics to ensure efficient merchandise flow and ecommerce partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in related field of study
  • Some experience in merchandising and/or ecommerce
  • Proficiency with retail software programs
