position is our Premium classic Full-Service Brands – Marriott, Sheraton, Gaylord & Delta hotels by
Marriott.
On a project / tactical level, the successful candidate for this position provides design quality assurance
and interior design management services and manages all aspects of franchised, managed, or
corporate projects for new construction, conversion, renovation, or adaptive re-use. This individual has a passion for hospitality design and can inspire internal and external participants to create design
solutions that thrill guests and align with brand strategy. The atmosphere within the team is

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
? Oversees the complete design process and documentation package for interior design of a hotel
by ensuring excellence in design quality and aesthetics relative to the project brand.
? Makes recommendations for development or improvement of processes.
? Reviews and approves model rooms and milestone reviews to ensure the project is on strategy.
? Assists owners in selection of design firms.
? Performs final project review to ensure compliance with brand concepts and standards.
? Conducts and leads onsite reviews, surveys and meetings with Stakeholders.
? Represents the division, both internally and externally, in interior design issues.
? Mentors design team members to facilitate professional growth. Oversees quality and alignment to
brand ethos and design standards in all phases of project design from concept, design
development and documentation, through final implementation.
? Conducts conversion scopes and renovation PIPs
? Conducts physical and virtual property site visits
? Accountability for documentation of project deadlines

Education/Experience:
? 4-year degree from an accredited interior design program preferred
? Minimum 8 years’ experience in the design field, preferably in the hospitality design industry
? NCIDQ certificate preferred
? An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
