The Jessup Scott Honors College Student Programs Coordinator has
responsibility for the Honors Learning Community, JSHC events, and
assists with admissions and communication work within the
college.
Minimum Qualifications:
In addition to the education, experience, and skills noted below,
the ideal candidate is passionate about the undergraduate student
experience and effective in working with, and communicating with, a
diversity of people in small and large group settings. Familiarity
with best practices in social media communication is preferred.
Ability to attend and supervise student events on weeknights and
weekends is required.
B.A. or B.S. required
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Excellent organizational skills are required
Exceptional computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office are
required.
Excellent problem solving are required.
Must have the ability to, as well as meet the requirements to
complete and maintain mandatory training per the University
mandatory training policy pursuant to the deadlines set forth
therein.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.A. or M.S. preferred
Minimum of one year's experience working in higher ed
preferred
