Ideal applicants have: -1 year of retail, customer service or service industry experience -Reliable and punctual with friendly, outgoing, engaging personality -Polished presentation and neat appearance -Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions and focus on tidiness when multitasking -Three to four shifts (12-16 hours) per week to start with the potential for more hours. Shifts typically 10:45am-3pm and 2pm-6pm. Must be in town and available for the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, plus weekend and weekday evening (2pm-6pm, often 7pm if we have a private event) availability a MUST for this role. -Can lift 50lb (occasionally), push up to 75lb (sometimes), use box cutter (frequently), extremely hot heat gun and other hot situations (constantly) and work on your feet for full shifts (always) Tasks: Customer guest interaction, DIY candlemaking events and walk ins, candle production processing with high attention to detail, use Square cash wrap, ability to work efficiently and independently, keep a tidy work area, receiving deliveries and organizing product, packing up orders for customer pick up. 18 only, please; empty nesters especially encouraged to apply!
