The Global Technology Platform organization is a global team that supports all of Walmart (US, Sam’s, and International), omni-channel technologies (in store/club, pick-up/delivery, on-line shopping) for the Fortune 1 company in the world.  The Business Portfolio Operations team drives the business rhythm for this organization and ensures strategic alignment with the full Global Tech organization, solving unparalleled scaling challenges. You can take a very complex landscape (multiple business units, unique platforms, various domains, and +100 applications) and simplify an approach to build piece-by-piece what is required to establish mechanisms for product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

You are comfortable driving to have standard operating models, analytic models, and the establishing foundational requirements to get what is required for a modern accountability model for TCO that will be used for portfolio management recommendations and decisions.

You are able to build and lead a high performing team.

You’ll make an impact by:

Defining vision and strategies for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across our organization (GTP) and then in working with other organizations in Global Tech to ensure alignment

Building an overarching GTP TCO roadmap that will feed the product roadmaps required to deliver results all with an eye to simplification for a sustainable solution

Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership

Providing analysis and models to ensure execution and strategy stay aligned

Building and growing a team

Providing mentorship across the Business Portfolio Operations leadership team

Preferred Qualifications

20 years of experience in technology product engineering business operations

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Communication, or related field and 6 years’ experience in Program Management/Portfolio Management. 15 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
