Reporting to the Senior Director, Walmart Finance - Apparel, this position will be fully responsible for both ELOQUII and Free Assembly’s financial and fiscal management aspects, providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, analysis, and budgeting efforts. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience and they will have strong quantitative, analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; demonstrate good judgment in his/her ability to make data-justified business decisions. They will also ensure effective cross-functional integration, cooperation, and execution, as well as foster an innovative, spirited environment that consistently achieves breakthrough performance. The Director of Finance will contribute to the company’s strategy setting and the tactical execution to that strategy. The successful candidate will bring a “roll up the sleeves” and “can do attitude”.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key business partner to CEO and executive teams, ensuring understanding of each functional area’s inputs into the business
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financials including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements inclusive of providing input into the planning process, preparing financial analysis and modeling to help the business in developing annual operating plans as well as long range plans
Coordination and preparation of financial statements, financial reports, company-specific analyses, and information reports
Oversees and manages cash flow & forecasting
Manage FP&A, inclusive of supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis to senior leadership within ELOQUII and Free Assembly as well as Walmart
Strategic planning support with CEO and all functional area leaders, driving to execute business plans and projects aimed at servicing operational and customer needs, ensuring adequate resources are available for implementation and budgets/forecasts are aligned with the strategic direction
Development and implementation of finance processes, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and in support resolution of solving financial questions and/or issues
Oversight and management of the company’s cost controls and quarter/annual reports
Maintain relationships with cross functional partners within ELOQUII, Free Assembly and Walmart
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting or similar and has a strong experience in the finance sector
Effective decision-making skills and excellent organizational skills
Ability to understand business issues and link results to organizational effectiveness
Strong financial acumen, planning, organizing and prioritization skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to partner with team members across different internal functions
Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
E-commerce experience is strongly appreciated, retail experience is necessary
