Senior Manager II – Finance, New Business Development

While it is important that Walmart continues to drive day-to-day business and focus on serving our customers today, it is also critical we continue to look ahead to the customer and business needs of tomorrow. The New Business Development Team is a newly created group designed to do just that. This venture is a multi-billion-dollar opportunity rooted in leveraging existing Walmart assets, building new capabilities, and laying the groundwork for a sizeable new business.

The organization is currently seeking a Finance Senior Manager to play a unique role supporting a new business—spanning accounting structure setup, LRP, AOP, forecasting, reporting, and decision support.  The position will be deeply engaged in the design of our accounting and reporting structure, ensuring that our accounting and reporting processes effectively support the business strategy and operations. The position will also grow into an FP&A and decision support function. The person in this role will be integral and visible as a core member of the team.

This is a unique chance to be an entrepreneur — building something new from the ground up, while backed by the strength of Walmart and leveraging the assets of the world’s largest omnichannel retailer.
