Our tech (internet) client is seeking a UX/Product Producer to collaborate with design partners, engineers, and product managers to ensure successful product launches.
This role is 9 months to start with potential to extend or convert to permanent (not guaranteed). 40 hours per week, fully remote from anywhere in the U.S. Time zone is flexible.
You will work at the forefront where the product meets our users, vision, process, and operations. You will play a defining role managing the calendar, prepping the team for product reviews, and capturing meaningful feedback for the product team to respond to. This seamless role will allow the team to focus on shaping the products from initial concepts, specifications, and the flow of implementation and reviews. You will collaborate with other working groups to define boundaries, agree on meeting rhythms, ensure the product team spends more time fostering insights, collaborating, and producing vision and products.
You'll work closely with the team and cross-functional partners to define project requirements, clarify design goals, lead design reviews, and ensure a quality release of the final product. You will collaborate with product leaders, and recruiting, to create systems of team building from identifying new candidates, through onboarding programs and systems.
This is a dynamic team focused on complex challenges. This position works closely with many other teams and will be an advocate for user experience.
Run meetings and product reviews. Bring together key ideas, decisions, issues, and action items in meeting notes.
Track and report project health on a weekly basis, including communicating status and impending or projected deliverables.
Negotiate priorities for the product team given limited resources and an ambitious schedule.
Ensure timely definition of major release initiatives.
Review builds to ensure experience integrity has remained intact during implementation.
Coach product managers in preparing for successful product reviews.
Handle the storytelling archive of each of our major releases.
5+ years as a producer in software design or an interactive agency.
Experienced in consumer software development and product lifecycle.
Successful experience in supporting multiple concurrent projects, across various products.
Detailed understanding of integrating design, business, marketing, engineering and stakeholder teams to clarify project requirements, define design goals and strategy, execution, and delivery processes.
Specialist in soft-skills, empathy and reading non-verbal cues.
Shown ability to meet deadlines and get results while juggling many projects and priorities.
Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to constant change.
