The utilization & execution of personal financial planning to add additional value and produce great outcomes for our clients is central to our strategy at Citizens Wealth Management. We are seeking candidates that can help us expand our planning capacity, and execute additional financial planning solutions in a scalable manner. The Associate Financial Planner will help the client facing CSI colleagues produce great outcomes, and win new assets under management by assisting them with the execution of personal financial plans, and proposals for clients and prospects. The person in this role will learn how to navigate various financial planning software platforms. They will also learn how to decipher client discovery documentation, and assess and diagnose personal financial planning data to spot areas of opportunity.
The main responsibilities will include:
The gathering of client data from the financial advisor
Identifying any gaps in the data
The development of the financial plan for prospect/client
Identifying and outlining the planning opportunities for the prospect/client
Preparing an executive summary that lists plan observation and recommendations to help guide the FA for their planning meeting
The creation of product and services proposals
The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in the following areas:
Partnering & teamwork –
Willingness to test & learn new methods to help our Financial Advisors deliver a high quality advice experience for their clients
Openness to testing and perfecting new processes and procedures
Understanding of basic financial services terms, account types, insurance and investment concepts
A general understanding of basic wealth management terms
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Personal Finance, Wealth Management preferred
Willingness to test and learn new approaches to the creation of financial plans and proposals
