The Workforce Development Administrator is responsible for leading efforts related to the implementation and creation of a shared vision, strategic plan and goals of an employer?led, industry sector?focused workforce development model.
Primary Position Tasks:
Technical support for our customers in educational programs we offer (Academy content, LMS, troubleshooting, training, etc.)
Opportunity to become an educator and get trained, certified, and instructor certified (ITQ) on pathways from Cisco, VMware, AWS and more.
Help customers with sales and services related to new instructional offerings, lab hardware and software, education registrations, and annual support agreements.
Develop, plan, facilitate, and deliver workforce training programs including The Academy Program, ThinkSmart Program, Career speakers, Internships and Capstone Programs
Partner with other departments to ensure employees have the adequate tools and training to develop professionally
Organize, plan, and execute workforce development events as necessary for various assigned projects
Participate in both onsite and offsite career fairs, college recruiting, and hiring events
Assist in developing program marketing materials including brochures, social media, and other methods to advertise program services
Coordinate job screening, interviews, and quality referrals via employment programs including, but not limited to, Hiring Our Heroes, MSSA, and Cisco Network Academy
Assist with Red River Charitable Foundation Initiatives and Scholarships including the Jeff Sessions Memorial Scholarship and Makerspace Scholarships
Align with corporate diversity initiatives and increase diverse employee talent
Represent and promote Red River by serving on task forces, committees and events
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and external OEM partners
Gather, analyze and process workforce development program data to help drive business decisions
Participate in training of new employees
Other business duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
Experience with Cisco, VMware, and AWS Academy (or similar IT programs) as this experience will be critical for sales, service, and support of the educational programs we offer.
BS Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or other bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail
Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Teams, and SharePoint
Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:
Proven ability to utilize CRM and ITSM data, product documentation and other resources to research and resolve client technical issues.
Strong consulting and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ability to work in a team-based environment
Ability to be a self-starter and possess good time management skill
Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
This position is required to sit for periods of 2-3 hours at a time. This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
Special Requirements:
This candidate will operate from anywhere in the U.S. with 25% travel to customer and partner sites.
Pay Range $50,000 - $60,000
